| ACTUAL POLICY STATEMENT:

natural and social environment. In the best interests of the
local and general community we strive to maintain these impacts
within socially acceptable limits. Our Policy towards achieving
this goal is founded on the following measures:
- Continually improve our environmental performance
by limiting to the lowest practicable level the environmental
impact
of our activities, products and
services.
- Plan, organise and control elements that may have an environmental impact
by the adherence to good practice and documented procedures.
- Comply with all relevant legislation, public
policies and procedures and to combine implementation with
our safety
and commercial objectives.
- Comply with specific requirements on environmentally
sensitive sites or where operations may interfere with the
quiet
enjoyment of homes and facilities
of our neighbours.
- Identify and assess all significant environmental
aspects that may arise as a direct consequence of our operations.
- Set objectives and targets that form part
of our Environmental Policy, the implementation of which
will aid the reduction
of environmental
impacts.
- Reduce by design our energy consumption,
material consumption and production of waste.
- Utilise environmentally friendly products
and solutions where practicable.
- Pursue and maintain registration to ISO
14001.
- Promote awareness of this policy among our
Employees and Outside Agencies.
- Ensure that at each level of the Company
the necessary personnel, skill, and expertise are available
to
support this Policy.
- Provide suitable and sufficient information,
instruction and training to all employees to enable them
to perform their job
functions
in an environmentally
aware manner and to achieve the stated environmental
objectives and targets.
- Appoint an individual to ensure that the
environmental impact of our operations are monitored and
documented.
- Maintain and review this policy in line
with changes in legislation and acceptable practice.
