 Carlow
Precast is currently developing a precast concrete version
of an electrical sub-station.
The concrete are enclosures are manufactured in our state
of the art production facility in Carlow. The electrical equipment
is installed by a specialist contractor in a purpose built
unit, also located at our factory. The completed sub-station
is delivered to site and installed using our truck mounted
crane.
To date we have installed a number of units on various sites
around Ireland on a trial basis. Feedback has been extremely
positive from all the organisations concerned, from the building
contractor, ground worker and the electrical installer.
The Carlow Precast Electrical Sub-Station offers a
number of advantages to our customer:
- Ease of installation. Units are installed in less than
one hour.
- Units are aesthetically pleasing and are available in
a range of finishes to suit various development styles.
- Precast concrete enclosures are extremely durable and
vandal proof.
- The option of supply, delivery and installation by one
company is a very cost effective alternative, and also reduces
the risk of logistical problems for the customer when coordinating
a number of suppliers.
- Units are available for delivery at very short lead times.
