 The
Carlow Precast Residential Walling system brings together
all the benefits of offsite fabrication, rapid installation
rates and the look and texture of natural stone.
Using state of the art moulding processes whereby the original
patterns are sculpted in marble before being used to make
polyurethane forms, every detail of the mortar joints and
stone texture is accurately recreated. The scale is such that
pattern repeats are not readily identifiable and the results
are truly remarkable. This simply does not look like concrete
when completed.
The product is available in heights ranging from 0.6m to
3.6m and can incorporate railings between proud piers. It
can be self-coloured by adding selected pigments in the concrete
batching process or, for very creative finishing possibilities,
can be stained on site using adapted products which are absorbed
into the concrete surface and weather naturally with the concrete.
In this way, the colour and tones of the local environment
can be incorporated. Spectacular results can be achieved with
remarkable little craftsmanship by using a systematic approach
to the application of the stain.
On larger projects construction rates of 100m per day are
easily achievable. Projects in excess of 4km have been completed.
We have a number of installers nationwide although the product
is sold with instruction directly to Customers who wish to
do their own installation using only a mini-digger and tele-porter.
